Use of AI tools to complete homework or graded assignments is not permitted unless explicitly approved by the instructor. All use of generative AI for coursework must comply with the Academic Integrity Policy.

For YCP/YCDS Employees:

Employees should not provide AI tools with or upload files containing personally identifiable information for anyone, including social security numbers, financial account information, full names, addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers, usernames, or email addresses. 

For All Users:

All AI use must also adhere to existing policies, including but not limited to Academic Integrity, Acceptable Use, and Intellectual Property.

AI Guidelines Coming Soon

We understand that generative AI is a rapidly evolving field. An AI Guidelines document to support ethical and appropriate use of these technologies across all departments is currently being developed and will be shared with the campus community upon completion.
