Photo Gallery This collection contains nearly 150 years of photographs from York College of Pennsylvania’s Archives. From our beginnings as part of St. John’s Episcopal Church on North Beaver Street (1787)and York Collegiate Institute on College Avenue and Duke Street (1873), both in the city of York, to our present location on Country Club Road (since 1961), these images offer the viewer a glimpse into the people who and the places that makeup our unique past.
Catalogs (1856-present) This York College of Pennsylvania collection includes yearbooks (1901 to 2005), course catalogs (1856 to the present), and a selection of pre-1923 books which focus on York's history. The yearbooks and catalogs offer a unique historical perspective of the College's evolution from two preparatory schools - the York County Academy (1787) and the York Collegiate Institute (1873) - to York Junior College (1941), and then to York College.

York County Archives York County's records begin in August of 1749 when York County was formed from Lancaster County. The Archives stores records for over 40 different county offices during various time periods throughout the past 250 years.
The York County History Center The History Center’s collection encompasses more than 90,000 artifacts highlighting nearly 300 years of York’s impressive history. These artifacts document the development, culture, and contributions of the York County community.

York County Academy: The oldest school in our lineage, 1921
