If you’re having trouble accessing a database or article from off campus, there are a few steps you will want to take to help diagnose and correct the problem:

1. Log into MyYCP
2. Search for the title of your source in Summon.
3. Switch browsers (Chrome and Firefox work best)
4. Make sure the URL for your link begins with "https://ezproxy.ycp.edu:8443/login?url=" (without quotes).
5. If you are on a public network (such as at a coffee shop, airport, or employer's wifi), there is a known, common conflict between public networks and library proxies. Try switching to cellular data or continuing research from at home. If you need immediate access to a source before then, contact us for assistance.
